In the daily news release for January 18, 2012, it was reported that a firearm was stolen during a residential burglary in the 100 Block of Spring House Road, Lancaster Township. Entry was made by breaking a window. The incident occurred during the day on January 17, 2012.

The firearm that was stolen was a Cobray SWD M-11 9mm Sub-Machine Gun. . This is a dangerous weapon and it was loaded at the time of the theft.
