A.        Paper Shredding Event: Saturday, April 21, 2018, 9:00am to 11:00am, at Maple Grove Park, 1420 Columbia Avenue. Please, no early birds! ENTER from Columbia Avenue, and EXIT to Elm Avenue. Bring a non-expired canned good or boxed food item for donation to a local food bank. Event is for Lancaster Township residents only.

X.        Planning and Zoning Business
 A.        Zoning Ordinance Amendment
The board will act to forward draft language for a zoning ordinance amendment to the Lancaster Township Planning Commission and the Lancaster County Planning Commission for review, and to authorize the advertisement for a public hearing at the board’s May 14, 2018 meeting.
B.        LTPC 267–Strong/Gallagher Residence – Stormwater Management Site Plan
The Board will act on a stormwater management site plan, including requested waivers, for a proposed dwelling at 1523 Marietta Avenue.
Waiver requests include:
SWMO 229-36.4.C(1) – Easement Width
SWMO 229-43.15.E – Township Notification of Infiltration Testing
SWMO 229-46.4(a)[4] – Storm Sewer Pipe Diameter
SWMO 229-46.11 – Inlets or Manholes at Changes in Pipe Direction
The Lancaster Township Planning Commission recommended conditional approval of this stormwater management site plan at their meeting on March 20, 2018, subject to the conditions of township engineer Ben Webber’s review letter dated March 9, 2018.
C.        Resolution 2018-12
The board will act on Resolution 2018-12 to execute a Temporary Construction Easement Agreement, allowing PennDOT representatives and contractors to install a temporary traffic signal at the rear driveway of Maple Grove Park during the second stage of construction for the Columbia Avenue bridge replacement project.
XI.       New Business
A.        Ordinance 2018-02
The board will act on Ordinance 2018-02 authorizing the installation of a traffic control device (sign) prohibiting left turns at the intersection of Race Avenue with
Columbia Avenue. This ordinance will take effect on May 15, 2018.
B.        Resolution 2018-09
The board will act on Resolution 2018-09 approving the financing through the Suburban Lancaster Sewer Authority of a certain project for the benefit of Presbyterian Homes, Inc.
C.        Resolution 2018-10
The board will act on Resolution 2018-10 amending the township schedule of fees, Section 1, under gg. Alarm Permits & False Alarms by renaming Seller/Installer Permit Fee to Alarm Business Permit Fee, and adding the Alarm Business Permit Late Fee of $35.00.
 D.        Resolution 2018-11
The board will act on Resolution 2018-11 amending the Right-of-Way Fee Schedule by adding under Driveway Permit, Review, and Inspections, the category Driveway Reconstruction, defined as follows, and including the associated fee of $75.00: A driveway reconstruction permit is required whenever the driveway is being rebuilt in any manner that results in excavation or work within the Right of Way, or adjoining the roadway and the shape, size and configuration of the current driveway is unchanged.
E.         2018 Street/Alley Paving Contract
The board will act on awarding the 2018 Street and Alley Paving Contract.
