A. Yard Waste Collection: Last week for yard waste collection by Penn Waste is Monday, October 9 through Thursday, October 12, 2017 on regularly scheduled collection day.
B. Leaf pickup: Leaves are collected on a rotating basis. On signed streets, pickup begins October 17, 2017, and is the first and third Tuesday and Wednesday of each month, ending December 6, 2017, weather permitting. Police will enforce street signs. Also, grass clippings and other yard waste are not to be put in street for pickup; it clogs the machinery.
C. Halloween Parade: Hamilton Park Church will hold its annual Halloween activities on Saturday, October 28, 2017. Parade starts at 11:00am.
D. Trash/Recycle Bills: Bills were mailed October 1, and due October 30, 2017.
E. Trick or Treat Celebrated: Tuesday, October 31, 2017, 6:00pm-8:00pm.
F. Large Appliance/Tire Collection: Week of November 6 through 9, 2017 on regularly scheduled collection day.
G. Election Day: November 7, 2017
H. Next Board of Supervisors Meeting: Monday, November 13, 2017, 7:00pm; workshop at 6:00pm, Lancaster Township.

IX. Planning & Zoning Business
A. LTPC #219 – Penn Manor School District Comet Field
The board will act on an agreement with Penn Manor School District to maintain their storm water facilities at Comet Field.
B. Lancaster County Conservation District, Low Volume Road Program
The board will act on an agreement between Lancaster Township and Lancaster County Conservation District (on behalf of DEP) for a $60K grant to rehabilitate the swale between Spring House Road and Michelle Drive.
