Police Log-August 21, 2017

  1. Institutional Vandalism, August 18-20, 2017, 2000 block Wabank Road (LT) – Unknown person/s shot and broke a window with a small caliber firearm or BB gun resulting in $250.00 in damages.
  2. Criminal Mischief, August 18-19, 2017, 300 block Abbeyville Road (LT) – Unknown person/s “keyed” a vehicle as it sat parked overnight.  $300.00 loss.
  3. Institutional Vandalism, 8:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., Saturday, August 19, 2017, Second Lock Road (LT) – Unknown person/s threw a rock through a window resulting in $200.00 in damages.
  4. Burglary, August 14-16, 2017, 1400 block Passey Lane (LT) – Unknown person/s entered an apartment at this location and removed two lawn chairs valued at $40.00.  The chairs were later recovered.
  5. Criminal Mischief, August 17-18, 2017, 600 block North School Lane (LT) – Unknown person/s smashed a window of a parked vehicle as it sat overnight.  $200.00 loss.

Police Log-August 17, 2017

  1. Burglary / Conspiracy / Theft Arrests, Between 9:08 and 9:19 p.m., Thursday, August 10, 2017, 1100 block Millersville Pike (LT) – Cortney Michelle Nelson, F/34, and James Robert Devonshire, M/36, were both charged with the above offenses following a burglary that occurred on August 10, 2017. Officers were able to determine that Nelson and Devonshire were responsible for breaking into an apartment and stealing $3,455.00 worth of property. Warrants for their arrest were obtained as their whereabouts are unknown.  They remained wanted at this time.
  2. Public Drunkenness Arrest, 9:18 p.m., Friday, August 11, 2017, 1200 block Millersville Pike (LT) – Raymond Bruce Walters, Jr., M/30, was charged with Public Drunkenness after being observed in public, and causing a disturbance while under the influence of synthetic marijuana. A citation was filed on August 11, 2017.
  3. Warrant Arrest, 11:24 p.m., Wednesday, August 16, 2017, 600 block South West End Avenue (LT) – Asia Marie Hollis, F/23, was arrested on an outstanding bench warrant for food stamp fraud, following a traffic stop. She was turned over to the Lancaster County Sheriff.
  4. Theft, August 9-16, 2017, 300 block Rosedale Avenue (LT) – A registration plate was stolen from a vehicle parked in the area. $100.00 loss.
  5. Theft From Motor Vehicle, August 15-16, 2017, 1300 block Spencer Avenue (LT) – An unlocked vehicle was entered as it sat parked overnight. $4.00 in loose change was taken.
  6. Warrant Arrest, 12:05 p.m., Wednesday, August 16, 2017, 600 block Wyncroft Lane (LT) – Raul Rivera, Jr., M/25, was arrested on an outstanding bench warrant for drug paraphernalia, after he contacted police to report being the victim of a crime. Rivera was turned over to the Lancaster County Sheriff.
  7. Theft From Motor Vehicle, August 15-16, 2017, 500 block Misty Drive (LT) – A vehicle was entered as it sat parked overnight. An iPod, valued at $50.00 was taken. It is unknown how entry was made into the vehicle.
  8. Theft From Motor Vehicle, August 15-16, 2017, 600 block Wyncroft Lane (LT) – A vehicle was entered as it sat parked overnight. A Canik 9mm pistol with ammunition, headphones, and cash were all taken from the vehicle; $975.00 loss. It is unknown how entry was made into the vehicle.

Police Log-August 16, 2017

  1. Vehicle Theft, Tuesday, August 15, 2017, 500 block Misty Drive (LT) – A silver 2004 Honda Civic was taken sometime between 8:45 p.m. and 11:00 p.m. this date. The vehicle was locked at the time of theft. Total loss was $3,380.00.
  2. Criminal Mischief, August 14-15, 2017, 900 block East King Street (LT) – Two tires of a vehicle were slashed overnight. Total loss was $250.00.
  3. Theft From Motor Vehicle, August 14-15, 2017, 900 block East Orange Street (LT) – Unknown person/s entered a locked vehicle as it sat parked overnight in a parking lot and moved items around inside the vehicle; nothing was taken.

  1. Burglary, Friday, August 11, 2017 to Saturday, August 12, 2017, 600 block Wyncroft Lane (LT) – A cell phone was taken from an apartment at this location. There were no signs of forced entry, a suspect has been developed and the investigation continues. $500.00 loss.
  2. Burglary, Thursday, August 10, 2017 to Friday, August 11, 2017, 1100 block Millersville Pike (LT) – Cash and jewelry were taken from an apartment at this location. $3,150.00 loss.
  3. Theft, Friday, August 11, 2017, 400 block Judie Lane (LT) – A tow-behind pig roaster was taken from a residence sometime during the day. $3,045.00 loss.
  4. Theft, Thursday, August 10, 2017 to Friday, August 11, 2017, 900 block East King Street (LT) – A stroller and snow blower were taken from the backyard of a residence. $1,700.00 loss.
  5. Institutional Vandalism, Thursday, August 10, 2017, 1100 block Columbia Avenue (LT) – The side panel to a window air conditioning unit had been cut resulting in $40.00 in damages.

  • Thefts from Vehicles (MT & LT) – Numerous thefts from vehicles were reported in the southeastern part of Manheim Township and the east side of Lancaster Township. The thefts occurred overnight August 8-9, 2017, and August 9-10, 2017. They are as follows:
    • 400 Block Rutledge Avenue – Loose change taken.
    • 400 Block Rutledge Avenue – Unlocked vehicle rummaged through, nothing taken.
    • 1300 Block Crown Avenue – Unlocked vehicle, loose change taken.
    • 1300 Block Crown Avenue – Two unlocked vehicles, wallet taken.
    • 1600 Block Ridgedale Drive – Unlocked vehicle, loose change taken.
    • 1600 Block Ridgedale Drive – Unlocked vehicle, loose change taken.
    • 1500 Block Esbenshade Road – Unlocked vehicle rummaged through, nothing taken.
    • 100 Block Haskell Drive – Unlocked vehicle rummaged through, nothing taken.
    • 900 Block East Orange Street – Unlocked vehicle, several items taken. Loss $127.
    • 1000 Block Clark Street – Unlocked vehicle, several items taken. Loss $90.
  • Vehicle Theft, August 10, 2017, 900 Block East Orange Street (LT) – A resident of the 900 Blk of East Orange Street reported that his maroon 2009 Pontiac G6 was taken from outside of his residence sometime during the early morning hours of August 10, 2017.
