1) Robbery, 5:50 p.m. May 9, 2012, Ranck Avenue (LT) – At 5:50 p.m. May 9, 2012, officers were dispatched to a report that two 12 year old Lancaster City males had been assaulted by a group of three juvenile males and robbed of their Ipods in the first block of Ranck Ave. The victims sustained minor injuries. Responding officers quickly located the three suspects on the East King Street bridge and took them into custody without incident. The three Lancaster City males – ages 13, 14, and 15 – were each charged with Robbery and Criminal Conspiracy to Commit Robbery and committed to the Lancaster County Youth Intervention Center.
2) Burglary, May 9, 2012, 1800 Block Wilderness Road (LT) – A mountain bike was taken from a garage in the 1800 Blk of Wilderness Rd sometime between 12:00 and 1:30 p.m. May 9, 2012. Loss $100. The garage was open at the time of the theft.
3) Theft from Motor Vehicle (LT) – Two 17 year old Lancaster males have been charged following an investigation into a theft from vehicle. At 11:09 a.m. April 25, 2012, a Manheim Township officer stopped the males in the 1100 Blk of Davis Drive and found that they were in possession of a GPS and an Ipod that had been reported stolen sometime overnight April 24-25, 2012 from Atkins Ave. Charges of Theft from Vehicle, Receiving Stolen Property, and Criminal Conspiracy have been filed against them in Juvenile Court.
4) Theft (LT) – A criminal complaint has been filed against Raymond Mitcheal Jr. M/29 of Church St, Lancaster. In April 2011, a resident of the 200 Blk of Kentshire Drive reported that Mitcheal had taken several items from her home between January and April 2011 while he was staying there. The items included jewelry, game systems, a camera, and a laptop. The total value of the items is $2,150. Mitcheal has been charged with five counts of Theft. The complaint was filed before MDJ Sponaugle.
