Kathy Wasong, Chair, is a member of the Lancaster County Planning Commission, and a member of the Lancaster County Metropolitan Planning Organization. Kathy is also a member of the Lancaster Inter-Municipal Committee, on the Lancaster County Community Development Block Grant Funding Steering Committee, and has been involved with various other community organizations. Her son John graduated from J.P. McCaskey High School in 2000. Kathy lives in Lancaster Township with her husband Tony.

Ben Bamford, Vice Chair, was re-elected as a supervisor in November 2015. Since 1996, Ben has chaired the Lancaster Industrial Development Authority, and was previously a member of the Lancaster Township Planning Commission. In addition, he is the Director of Development for the Lancaster Family YMCA Association, on the Lancaster City Alliance Economic Development and Planning Executive Leadership Team, a member of the Lebanon Valley College Alumni Scholarship Committee, and was the 2014 United Way Campaign Chair. Ben is the Managing Director of Community and Government Affairs at Lancaster General Health. He resides in Lancaster Township with his wife Lisa, daughter Grace, son Nate, and one large dog Moby.

Tom Schaller, Treasurer, began his third term as a supervisor in 2014. Tom has been a volunteer with the Lancaster Township Fire Department for more than 50 years, and has held the positions of chief , assistant chief, and deputy chief. He has served on the township’s Building Code Board of Appeals, the Y2K Committee, and as chair of the Vacancy Board. Tom was born in Bausman and is a life-long resident of Lancaster Township. Tom and Dorothy, his wife of 50 years, have four children and nine grandchildren.
