Trash Collection during COVID-19

March 18, 2020:

Reminder to all Lancaster Township residents…Waste Management is still collecting trash/recycling as usual on your regular collection day. In addition, during this time, no extra service tags are needed for the collection of extra bags/containers or over-sized items. The waste hauler will take your extra trash/over-sized item without a tag.

NOTE–the “special collections” (as of right now) are scheduled to take place on the dates listed below. These items are not part of the regular trash/recycle collection process.

  • Yard Waste Collection:  Collected every other week on your regular collection day – Starting week of April 13, 2020 through week of October 12, 2020. Click on this link for more detailed information.
  • Large Appliance (White Goods) Collection: Week of May 18-21, 2020 and week of November 16-19, 2020 on your regular collection day. Includes washers, dryers, dishwashers, refrigerators, stoves, freezers, hot water heaters, air conditioners, furnaces, dehumidifiers, etc. 
  • Tire Collection: Week of May 18-21, 2020 and week of November 16-19, 2020 on your regular collection day. This collection is for standard car, truck, or motorcycle tires ONLY. NO COMMERCIAL OR OVER-SIZED TIRES WILL BE COLLECTED.
