Lancaster Township Zoning Ordinance – Ord2012-04

AMENDMENTS:

  • Ord2021-05 – An ordinance amending the Lancaster Township zoning ordinance and the official zoning map for Lancaster Township to change the zoning classification of Lancaster County tax parcel ID Nos. 340-31394-0-0000, 340-16454-0-0000 and a portion of parcel ID No. 337-13610-0-0000 from the R-1 residential zoning district to the industrial zoning district; to change the zoning classification of lancaster county tax parcel ID No. 340-03297-0-0000 from the R-3 residential zoning district to the industrial zoning district; to permit correctional facilities in the industrial zoning district; to establish minimum off-street parking requirements for correctional facilities; and to establish specific criteria and performance regulations governing the operation of correctional facilities. (December 13, 2021)
  • Ord2021-03 – To amend the Code of the Township of Lancaster, Chapter 280-Zoning, to add warehousing, distribution, and wholesaling as a special exception use in the local commercial and general commercial zoning districts. (July 12, 2021)
  • Ord2020-02 – An ordinance to rezone certain properties located at 640 Bean Hill Road, Bean Hill Road Lot 1b-a (rear), and 1750 Wabank Road from R-3 residential to industrial; to     rezone certain properties located at 636 and 638 Bean Hill Road from R-3 residential to R-2 residential; and to amend the Code of the Township of Lancaster, Chapter 280, Article iii, Section 280-7 to amend the official zoning map to reflect the change in zoning classification for these properties. (March 9, 2020)
  • Ord2018-05 – An ordinance to amend the code of the Township of Lancaster, Chapter280-Zoning to revise the definition for municipal uses and to amend §1615. (October 8, 2018)
  • Ord2018-03 – An ordinance to amend the code of the Township of Lancaster, Chapter 280-zoning to add definitions and to add self-storage facilities as a use permitted by right or special exception subject to specific criteria and to amend section 903 to add mobile home park. (August 13, 2018)
  • Ord2016-02 – Amending the Lancaster Twp Code of Ordinances, to provide a comprehensive set of regulations pertaining to floodplain management within the township, and provide for certain amendments to other ordinances of the township to conform to the Floodplain Management Ordinance. (April 11, 2016)
  • Ord2016-01 – Implementation of the Floodplain Management Ordinance as reviewed by the Lancaster Township Planning Commission and as authorized by the Legislature of the Commonwealth of PA (March 29, 2016)
  • Ord2015-08 – Rezoning a 12.143 acre tract from campus/open space to industrial (December 14, 2015)
  • Ord2014-03 – Provisions relating to Bed and Breakfast establishment uses and to amend section 280-201 and section 280-1505 (April 14, 2014)
  • Ord2012-06 – Rezoning a parcel along Barbara Street/Wabank Road (November 12, 2012)
